- Diploma in Cultural management and adult education (MA) at Debrecen University, 1997.
- Doctoral absolutorium on non-formal education from Doctoral School of Education, Debrecen University, in 2000.
- International courses at University of Leiden, The Netherlands (1999) and at Central European University, Budapest (2000).

He started his professional career as fundraising manager of Csokonai Theatre, Debrecen, Hungary, 1995-2000. As free lancer, 2000-2003, he was manager of artists, conference organiser and monitoring expert in culture and employment (EU Structural Fund). From 2003-, he occupies the senior research officer position at The Budapest Observatory (www.budobs.org). He also works as lecturer of cultural project management and other subjects at universities. Some 15 articles are available from him in the field of nonformal education and cultural festivals.
