This workshop will give an insight of European funds available for cultural organisations in Europe. After a a brief history of European funding for culture throughout Caleidoscope, Raphael, Ariane and Media Programme plus Culture 2000 programme we will focus on Culture Programme (2007-13) and the Structural Funds. We will discuss practical examples of best practices and best strategies for finding European funding. We take Polish, Latvian, Lithuanian and Hungarian cases among others. Participants will have the chance to discuss individual ideas and projects as well = including project development and management techniques.
